What are transactional emails?
Transactional emails are sent on behalf of the incubator/accelerator from AcceleratorApp. These emails help the incubator administrator manage user accounts, the application process, some of the engagement with startups, notifications, onboarding users, and rejection emails.
The content and design of the emails can be customized to align with your brand.
Types of Transactional Email in AcceleratorApp
Account Management - used to manage user accounts.
- Forget Password: sent to a user requesting a password change. The user is directed to a page to change their password.
- Confirmation Password Changed: sent to a user to confirm that their password was changed.
- Application Deleted (user): sent when a user deletes their account.
- Application Deleted (funnel admin): sent to the Funnel Admin when a user deletes a submitted application (not for draft applications).
- Email Address Confirmation: sent when a user updates their email address.
Application Process
These are used in the application funnel to manage the application process.
- Applicant Account Activation: sent to the user when they activate their account to start an application.
- Confirmation application submitted (Name of the Funnel): sent to an applicant after they submit their application.
- Instruction Email For Round (N) Of Name of the Funnel: sent to an applicant when their application is accepted and moved to the next round of the application process.
- Invitation To Set A Meeting: sent to an applicant when they are invited to schedule a meeting/interview that is part of a round in the application process.
- Confirmation Meeting Booked (Applicant): sent to the applicant when they have scheduled a meeting that is part of a round in the application process.
- Confirmation Meeting Booked (Host): sent to the host when an applicant has scheduled a meeting that is part of a round in the application process.
- Application review meeting updated (By Applicant): sent to the host when an applicant reschedules a meeting that is part of a round in the application process.
- Application review meeting updated (By Host)****: sent to the applicant when a host reschedules a meeting that is part of a round in the application process. .
- Canceled Interview In Application Process: sent to the applicant or host when a meeting that is part of a round in the application process is canceled.
- Email Sent To Applicant To Fill New Form: sent to the applicant when they need to submit a new or additional form that is part of a round in the application process. .
- Organization admin deletes an application: sent to the Funnel Admins when an Admin deletes an application.
- Reminder to fill in the information and submit your application: sent to an applicant that has not completed or submitted their application.
- Funnel deadline passed: sent to an applicant with an incomplete application when the funnel deadline has passed. The application is archived.
- Acceptance Email (Name of the Program): sent when an applicant is accepted into a program.
- Rejection Emails: These are sent when an application is rejected. You can create different types of rejection emails e.g. rejecting a candidate as part of a recruitment process.
Startup
These are sent to founders (or teams) of a startup that is part of the incubator
- Startup Confirmation meeting booked: sent to a startup when a meeting is booked with staff, a coach, a mentor, an expert, or an admin.
- Host Confirmation meeting booked: sent to the host (staff, a coach, a mentor, an expert, or an admin) when a startup has booked a meeting with the
- Meeting canceled (Attendee): sent to the startup when the meeting host or admin cancels a meeting.
- Meeting canceled (Host): sent to the meeting host when a startup or the admin cancels a meeting.
- Meeting Change (From Startup): sent to the meeting host went the startup reschedules a meeting.
- Meeting Change (From Coach Or Reviewer), Please Reschedule This Meeting: sent to a startup when the meeting host wants to reschedule a meeting. The startup is asked to schedule a new meeting based on the host’s availability. A confirmation email will be sent to both the startup and the host.
- Confirmation meeting rescheduled: sent to the meeting attendees when a meeting is rescheduled.
- Data Collection Email: sent to a startup when they need to submit data to the incubator. The frequency of the update is set up by your metrics settings.
- Program Change Email (Per Program): an acceptance email sent to a startup that is moved from one program to another. Each program has an acceptance email.
- New Mentor Assignation Email (Founder & Mentor): sent to a start and the mentor when they are matched (i.e. mentor is assigned to startup). We highly encourage you to include a few tips about mentorship in this email.
- Group Event Registration Confirmation: sent to a user registering for a group event.
- Group Event Registration Confirmation For Host(s): sent to a host(s) assigned to an event but they have not integrated their calendar. The calendar event is attached to the email.
- Group Event Update: sent to all registered users when changes to a group event are published.
- Unregistration Confirmation For Attendees Of A Group Event: sent to a user that cancels their registration from a group event.
- Group Event Unregistration Of Attendees By Other Users: sent to a user when their registration for a group event is canceled.
- Group Event Cancellation: sent to attendees and hosts of a group event is canceled.
- One-On-One Registration: sent to a user when booking a one-on-one event.
- One-on-One Registration For Host: sent to the host when a user books a one-on-one event with them.
- One-on-One Update: sent when changes are made to one-on-one sessions, this email is sent to all users registered in this event.
- One-on-One Cancelled By Attendee To Attendee: sent to the attendee(s) of the one-on-one when another attendee cancels the event.
- One-on-One Cancelled By Attendee To Host: sent to the host when an attendee cancels a one-on-one meeting.
- One-on-One Cancelled By Host To Attendee: sent to the attendee(s) when a host of a one-on-one meeting cancels the meeting.
Notifications
- Notification Digest On AcceleratorApp: sent daily to users with a summary for the day.
On-Boarding Process emails:
- User Role Account Invitation: sent to a user when invited to join your instance of AcceleratorApp. You can have an email per user role. New users will be asked to activate their account.
