Task List Overview
The Task overview displays a list of active, completed, and assigned tasks in descending order. Any member of the community can assign a task to another member.
Tasks sent by the admin, coach, and staff will be assigned automatically and they will appear in the task list. Tasks sent by the rest of the community will be received as requests to accept or deny.
Where to Find the Task List
Click on the Menu icon on the left panel and click on Tasks.
Task Tabs
Active Tasks - displays overdue tasks due today and sometime in the future.
Completed Tasks - displays self-assigned and assigned tasks that you have completed.
Assigned Tasks - displays tasks you have assigned to others. These tasks can be reassigned by clicking the edit icon.
Step-by-Step Actions
From the Task List, click on Add Task to create a task for yourself or to assign a task to someone else in the community.
Tasks are assigned by:
- Startup name: assigned to the startup
- User name: assigned to the user.
- Startup tag(s): assigned to all startups with that tag.
- User tag: assigned to all users with that tag.
- By program: assigned to all startups or users in the program.
Receiving a task and what to do about it
You will receive a notification every time you receive a task or request. Depending on who sent you the task, you will receive a request to either accept or deny, or it will be automatically assigned and added to the task list.
Accepting a request will add a task to your task list and the person that sent the request will receive a notification that you’ve accepted the request. If you deny a request, it will be closed, and no task will be added to your task list. The person who sent the request will be notified that you’ve denied the request.
